Just not knitting, but I have been making sure people get added and making sure the links are still valid.

I am on a knitting funk. I just havent been in the mood. But per usual, I will run across something I will just have to make.

Currently I want to post a few things that I need done to add people. I cannot email everyone . I just dont have the time right now, so if someone is missing something I will post it for now.

The code is there but you cant click on anything. So untill it is usable I cannot add you. Please email me if you need me to resed the whole code.

And Cecilie, I need the blog address to make it valid.
This link I believe is to the main page to your site, but I need the page the code is on and that has to be on the page you actually have the knitting blog.

pysselbjörn, there is no code and you havent posted since November.

Knit by Heidi, I cant see the code.
Sometimes you can put the code in the template, but if it dosent show I cant add you. Not sure if this happend to you, but it has happend to me once.

Abildgaard, there is no working address. Perhaps a typo? Please send me your link again and I can correct that.

The new rules go for both Nordic KnitBlogs and Crafty Expats

1. Having a knitting Blog. It is ok to talk about other things such as life or other crafts, but knitting has to be one of them.

2. Living in any of the Nordic Countries. Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Åland, the Faroe Islands and Greenland. (If i am missing any, please e-mail me.)

3. Activity, must be active with your blog. Please no less that one entry a month. If you go lower, you will be moved back to the Queue.

4. The ring code must be visible from the page where your blog is located (with at least prev and next included), not on any other pages. It makes it easy for surfing the blogs (which is kinda the point) :) (You will not be added as a member before this is done.) If something happends and your code is missing or incorrect you will be moved back to the queue and informed of why. If that happends please e-mail me when you fix the problem so you can be added back. If it is not done within a month you will be deleted from the ring.)

5. You will receive a message from RingSurf with your Ring Code and Ring ID. PLEASE keep this for your records. If you loose your log-in information please DO NOT make a new account. Just e-mail me and I can have RingSurf send you your account information.

6. You can resubmit any time if you have been deleted before.

7. (NEW RULE) If you have Sprayblogg you cannot join. There is no way to add the code for it to always be visable. The main item to be in the web-ring is the code so people can surf the ring easily. This is not possible with srayblogg.

7a. (NEW RULE) You can have a cover page that links you to the blog page ONLY if you are on Sprayblogg, Livejournal(user info page works), or Greatesjournal(user info page works). You must have a link on your blog to the cover page. If it is not easy for people to surf, it will not be added to the ring.

SIDE NOTE
(7 and 7a are changes only to allow those that use a format that is not easily workable with ringsurfs code system. ANY other blogs MUST have the code on the page of the blog itself.)

Hi all, I know it has been a while since I post, but I have been busy. So I've only been maintaining the actuall webring and nothing more.
Now that I have had a bit of free time here and there I hope to do more. :)

Nordic KnitBlogs New Group
I have made a group for the members in this webring. http://groups.yahoo.com/group/nordicknitblogs/
This is ONLY for people who are listed in the Nordic KnitBlog webring at Ringsurf.com. This is to make it easier for communication among the people of the group. Code issues, queue and maintenance issues and a place to chat about your blogs and knitting.
I have tried to invite all but I am not perfect. If I missed you or if your e-mail has changed and not updated please feel free to join. It is a restricted group and needs approval. The only requirement (as I mentioned) is being a member of the Nordic KnitBlog webring at Ringsurf.com

Blogrolling
As you can see I have a list on the left margin of this page. It is of the members of the Nordic KnitBlog webring.
Since there has been confusion in the past on this, I want to clarify.

Blogrolling is not part of Ringsurf. It is something extra I do. If you are not on the list and a member of the webring do not worry. You are still on the ringsurf list. I don't always have time to update this. I do it at my leasure. If you are not and would like to be send me an e-mail. When I get time I will add you. I get busy so it could have slipped my mind. But I do update it once in a blue moon. :)

I have a question, it is my desire to get all the Nordic knitting bloggers to be a part of this who want to be. Some services makes it hard to put the codes in their page tho. Any ideas how to deal with that? Maybe have them link to another blog in the ring, or have them link to the main Nordic knitting page?
I have a live journal (for my rambling blog), I tested it and you can put the code on the info page. That means you would have to click on a link to get to the blog, but unless they have a paied account there is no other choice.
What does everyone think?
